However, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_and_Sedition_Acts#Constitutionality" rel="nofollow">the Court itself has stated that it would have been found unconstitutional. </a><br /><br />Of course, I do agree that there is a limit on free speech. The familiar example is you're not allowed to run into a theater and yell, "fire!"<br /><br />But what are these so-called "religious gestures" that Congress immediately made after passage of the First Amendment?
