If we keep on voting on our faith, this goes for both sides we are going to contiune electing officers who aren't able to run the Government.

I am a small government minded person, I mean small! That's why I like Ron Paul, "get the governement out of your life" I don't make alot of money, and when i see part of my check going to social security and me knowing that money isn't going to be their the Government is going to spend it makes me lose faith in this country.

Regarding Huckabee, I am not going to insult anybody but if alot of these people would look at his record you would see how truly liberal this man is. Thanks for the reply Jon.Dustin Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06672700818468665496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1899606766246433608.post-85935862955023076302008-01-24T13:48:00.000-05:002008-01-24T13:48:00.000-05:00Yes, Regina, this is a frustrating situation. I suppose Obama is better than Clinton in theory, but in terms of his voting record I'm not sure we'd really see the kind of changes that are needed. Kucinich is a good choice for the liberal minded. He's one of those principled people, which would help a lot. But like you say, sometimes you have to vote against the worst candidate. What to do? I have no idea.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10530680372103907969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1899606766246433608.post-21286524847000656382008-01-24T13:44:00.000-05:002008-01-24T13:44:00.000-05:00Hey Dustin. Nice.

Good to see you're a Ron Paul guy. Try and fix all those Huckabee lovers over there for me. My parents voted for Carter because he similarly thumped the bible back in 1976 and look how that turned out.

Though I should say I'm not so sure that Carter didn't get a bad rap. I'll have to look into this more deeply myself.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10530680372103907969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1899606766246433608.post-42247590427799285152008-01-19T14:50:00.000-05:002008-01-19T14:50:00.000-05:00It killed me that no one talked about Edward BEAT...It killed me that no one talked about Edward BEATING CLINTON in Iowa. I have also supported Dennis Kucinich since 2004 when I fundraised and campaigned for him. Thank you writing about him. Unfortunately, I'm sucked into big media and have cast my vote for Obama because I feel strongly about Clinton not getting the nomination. I guess I fit the demographic you describe in this post.Regina Rodriguez-Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02955444956174150055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1899606766246433608.post-13055643777697613362008-01-18T22:03:00.000-05:002008-01-18T22:03:00.000-05:00Jon, Hope all is well. I can't stand the fact real people who truly where the Government officials of great history of a nation don't even get consideration. They actually get laughed at, for what? Because they aren't Washington, they are American. Good post.Dustin Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06672700818468665496noreply@blogger.com
